LENNI + SUSTAINABILITY

Our vision is to create staple and stand-out styles that are not like the rest. LENNI has never been trend-driven, we don't design for 'this-season', we focus on stand out, unique and timeless styles that will last a lifetime and not just one season. This is what sustainable fashion is to us.

Supporting our small brand means a future where we can continue to develop practices and new designs as sustainable as possible, and by making vintage inspired clothing that you'll never tire of! We aren't just a conscious label, but our lives too. Being well educated as youngsters naturally helped with being environmentally and socially responsive to issues of climate and pollution.

In terms of production, we are constantly discovering and working towards using more organic and sustainable fabrics, dyes and methods of manufacturing with our fabric suppliers. Our sewing factory uses disposable packaging and is in line with the current strict manufacturing and producing policy and we only ever produce small-quantity collections.

We work with two small family-run businesses who we are very happy to be supporting. As much of the smaller side of manufacturing now, both of our factories focus on quality, balance and sustainability as opposed to growth. Over our recent years working together, we have helped with the purchase of advanced equipment that uses green technologies and products.

LENNI also collaborates with local artists to help promote and create. Our shirt printing is all done by a friend, locally and by screen-print.

When it comes to packing, we are proud to be a 'better friend' of the Australian owned, The Better Packaging Co., a compostable satchel supplier, and we use little to no plastic in our packaging. Check out our feature with The Better Packaging Co., here.
